Isn’t it great when an article appears in the non-library press about the great things information professionals are doing, especially when if focuses on talks from Information Today’s Internet Librarian. Just noticed an upcoming continuing discussion on the topic of “the long tail”, mentioned by recent keynote speakers at Internet Librarian 2005 — Lee Raine and Liz Lawley. It’s happening online at the Long-Tail Camp. Chris Anderson’s article in Wired magazine started the long tail discussions and now he has a blog on the topic and has a book coming out next year! |
